Climbs are evil but a great work out too. Ironically climbing is probably my biggest strength compared to most other ppl I ride with. I don't have the horsepower to sprint as fast but I can catch up and pass them again on the climbs. To me training for climbs are kinda like drinking bad alcohol. The first time is a bear. Second one a little easier. Third one, no prob. After that wooo baby! I don't know why this works but it seems after you finally beat one climb it's always a lot easier after that. Maybe it's all mental and now that you know you can do it you just do it and don't think about it.
