My kid brother came across an old Puch in decent condition that he wants me to help him convert to a fg. The paint is all chipped, so we want to repaint it. I remember a thread here sometime ago with a step by step process for repainting but cannot find it? Anyone remember this? If not, what do's and don'ts are there for repainting (rattlecan style). What grit of sandpaper should I use? Any favorite primers/paints/clearcoats? How many coats of each is recommended.

I've never done this before and want to do it right. thanks
