I must take the Swedes side in this. Yes my sadly now stolen seventies full Dura Ace (black brakes) Crescent may not have the nicest lugwork and paint I have seen. And yes it had major toe overlap, but it was a light and very lively bike that was a great ride. I really miss it and think that several of the cheaper english production bikes with 531 frames and odd cheap parts are far worse bikes than the high end Crescents.
