Did my first commute today. It's only 6 miles each way. Nothing interesting happened other than I forgot that Atlanta gets a 5pm thunderstorm every afternoon this time of year. I had convinced a girl in the office that she needed to commute with me and she did fine. We got wet but the rain feels good in the heat. I think we're hooked. Drivers around here will never be accused of being cycling aware so the route is key.
