For everyone's amusement

On sunday i did the "Sunday in June" ride in Burton, Ohio. Burton is part of the 4th largest amish community in the world. (Largest being 2 hours south west in Holmes county Ohio, btw). Nice ride put on by the Cleveland touring club. Anyway I was climbing an almost 2 mile long hill going about 7-8 mph, and hear a clip-clop-clip-clop. Look over my shoulder and there is a horse and buggy coming up the hill about 250 ft back going the same direction as I was, no big deal this is amish country. About 2 minutes later this horse and buggy PASSED ME. And if that wasn't bad enough about 5 miles later another one did also. Passed by two buggies in one day. But seeing the look on the faces of the amish kids from seeing a recumbent was worth it.
