Roccobike, your bike is exactly like the one in the '84 Schwinn catalog, from the gold headtube down to the alloy rims, chromoly frame. Stem shifters. 12 speed. Maroon w/gold trim. But, your seattube decal looks like the '83 model's.???
The '83s are basically the same as above except the '83s have downtube shifters. Decals are definitly newer style than woaiwoma's.
My '80 Traveler owners manual says they still only had 10 speeds.
According to my '79 catalog they were called Traveler III and said so on the top tube decal. Decal style was the same as the op's though. Schwinn Approved 1020 steel. Chrome fork dropouts. Scarlet Flame w/white decals.
My '77 Traveler again has the same style decal as the op's but it was also the last year of the one piece crank. Schwinn Approved 1020 steel. Painted fork dropouts. Flamboyant red w/white decals.
That's all I know, y'all fill in the blanks.
