I'll be the devil's advocate. Why a 1400 gram wheelset? What about skewers? Are you a skinny person? How about save $500 and buy some Xero XR-1s (1520g, may include skewers, it ships with them?) for about $250 shipped (less if you find a coupon)? I run them and they work.

If you want to spend that much coin, I'd just order some Ksysrium SLs from Performance (this weekend, 25% store credit with membership) when the have a sale for the same price. At least you know what you're getting--and everyone else will too.
