Now here's a good one topic. I'm gurl and am a total commuter ('cept on really bad days - I have the option of taking a bus as I live in a city). And this dating thing as a 100% commuter is hard.

First off, from my friends whose forehead gets all wrinkly when they ask why I don't have a car - of course the next words out of their mouth is - you DO have a license don't you. And I reply that the car died about 8 yrs ago - it was off the road anyway as I didn't use it so - meh! And yes I have my license thank you. Hmmmph!

Then, I've had a few dates where they say - how about we meet up at here - and then I say (as I'm figuring how far off the bus line it is ...) that I'm a commuter - and there's a tad of silence - and when we do get together they kind of ask in general terms about bicycling and why, etc, etc. Hmmph!

So then I decide - phoooey on those non-bicycle types - I'll just aim at the mens who do bicycle -- and dam it - aren't most of them married. Joined a bicycle club to meet new people --- find at least half of them are near retirement age or ... are married.

How about any of you?
