Goldie is probably(?) never going to be prized from my grasp...

The gearing setup is a 14-28 shimano freewheel, on a Sturmey Archer hub forced into to the re-spaced rear triangle. It has seven speeds, but the smallest cog is too close to the frame to use, so I only have the option of six speeds.
The derailleur is then held on using a bolt-on hanger.

It looks a bit like this, though the freewheel has been updated since that photo. And yes, that is an XT deraileur!
