Yea, I took a look at pumps without rubber hose and immediately dismissed those. Because like that it would be easier to break the stem, and harder to pump in that position.


My choice was a pump (for presta and schreder) with a hose that goes from pump to tire. That way I won't break the stem, or the pump while pumping.


Topeak Road Morph G... About 13 inches long, attaches to either the frame or the way I like it in a book bag. Can use it like a floor pump, and it has pressure guage. Picked one up for $29.. Excellent quality.
