Well ya don't really put it on your "business". It sorta goes between the two "businesses" (i.e., the taint). Plus the sit bone area. Those are the two areas where you get chaffing and/or saddle sores. It helps to put it on the pad in your bibs/shorts because it's supposed to condition the chamios and make it last longer. However, with the pads in newers shorts not really being made of chamios anymore, it's not really necessary.
I use the Assos Chamios Creme before every ride and basically just use one or two little dallops. Works wonders for me. Have yet to get a sore or chaffing.
