Myself, I paid $30 for my bike at Goodwill.

However, I think I searched for a good month, AND I knew what I wanted - I was posting on the cycling forum on VWvortex, and looking on Craigslist. Damn near bought a used Mt. Fury because I was getting impatient, and was having trouble finding anything in my price range. (Eventually decided... why pay $30 for a used one when I can pay $50 for a new one, but decided to look at Goodwill one last time, before I went to Wall-of-China-Mart. Got lucky. )
