I live inside loop 610, so it isn't really that bad around here (med center/montrose/rice village. I personally hate bike lanes because idiot drivers then yell for you to get in/ find a bike lane (then I tell them to get on the freeway). the suburbs are the worst around here. I take the lane here and ride everywhere I can. If i get honked, at least they can see me. I leave the "drive-to-bike" rides to the weekend warriors.
