Selective enforcement of bikes running a stop sign while ignoring automobile drivers is wrong because of the effects each could do in a collision. Assumption is made that cars running stop signs are a much bigger problem as they can cause more damage in a collision, and sometimes it's safer to blow through a stop sign to quickly move through an intersection on a bike. But that's just my opinion.
Our mayor is ignoring the urban blight of increased traffic due to cars by making car parking a priority instead of putting that money into public transportation, bicycle parking, pedestrian safety initiatives, basically anything else would have been money better spent. The onus is on the mayor to try and make our city more livable, and more parking for cars isn't helping the situation.
