The parts are excellent, every equivalent of the contemporary campy stuff. The rear derailleur works much better (IMHO) than nuovo record. I also think that the brakes work better, although that is much more subjective. I believe the black stuff was earlier than the all-silver, and it is relatively hard to get a complete set together. The parts are date-coded (look at vintage-trek), but the codes aren't completely trustworthy. post us some pictures!
