Just did the southern portion today (NeilFein's suggestion) and it's a little tricky to do alone (get back on where it breaks), so I recommend following someone or bringing a GPS. It is really smooth and a nice way to do 22+ miles. I'll try to get a crossover map together, but here's some maps that give another take on it; better scale:
