I have a Fenix L2D CE which pumps out 135 lumens it is quite bright
i wasn't sure whether a stack of 2 or 2 L2D CE would be enough to over power one of the Cygolite DualCrosses.
If I added a DualCross Li-Ion, it would run me up $260
If I add 2X Fenix P3D CE, it would only run me up an additional $170
If the Fenix pair is brighter, I would go with that. Pumping out 320 lumens
20W halogens can pump out 200-600 lumens
but no one can substantiate that the Dualcross will pump out that much.
For about $260, I can make a triple stack of P3D CE (quite easily with velcro and zip ties), and it would be sure to pump out 480 lumens
Trumps moving into Toronto? Anyways, I've not seent he Dual Cross on the streets myself. If you get it I would love to see how it looks in person as my local LBS's here don't have it and the one that does stock Cygolite products has really inflated prices and does not have the DualCross in stock but if I wanted it in stock I'd have to buy it for them to bring a model in.
