The std Marathons are good, very tough sidewalls and sufficient p*ncture protection. The 28mm size is roughly the width of a std 32mm tyre, they run quite wide.
The Plus versions is a different beast altogether, a lot heavier with more protection and much more difficult to mount and remove from rmost rims.
