Front Suspension: RS Jett -
decent entry level fork, should be fine for light riding
Front Rim: Weinmann 519 -
is the front double-walled too? if so it ought to be decent for light/medium terrain
Rear Rim: Weinmann Double Walled Zach 19 -
not bad
Crank Arms say: Shimano Acera -
decent front der
Rear Derailer says: Shimano Deore X -
are you sure it doesn't say "Deore XT"? either way, decent R. Der.
Tires: WTB Primal Raptors 47/54 -
tire preference is mostly personal opinion, these are ok i think.
Handle Bar: 6061 t6 Aluminum 230grams -
pretty standard methinks
Sadle: Contour CRZ Plus -
if it's comfortable and the rails don't fail on you, it's a good saddle. I'm 200lbs so i've had problems ruining saddle rails hehe.
I'd like to get into Novice level MTN Biking over the next couple seasons and will not be buying a new bike. Thoughts? Insight? Links? --
The bike has a good frame and decent components so just ride and have fun. What I do is I secretly want to upgrade but can't really afford it. So I wait till something breaks or wears out and I replace it with good stuff. My pedals wore out and I got Kona Jacks**t's, always wanted them. my Deore drivetrain is starting to wear down so i'm looking at XT/XTR/X.0 stuff
