I almost got those ... great price, but where I really like the velcro strap is giving you a wider opening to peel the gloves off your wet hands at the end of a ride. I had never tried them, but since I have several other pairs of gloves in my bike bag I never use for one reason or another I stuck to the traditional design Comps at the same $12 price. I was tempted, but without trying them on first ...

edit: on the bg comps the velcro next to the terry thumb part is amazingly soft and non abbrasive. I've never felt velcro this soft.
