I have a 2005 1200 that I bought new in 2006. I love it! I Have the 1/2 black and 1/2 silver one with red highlights. I went as far as making everything on the front black (brakes, wheels, bottle cage, etc.) The rear got the same treatment in silver ( bottle cage, wheel, brake, etc.) Tires are red and black Bontragers. The entire drivetrain is 9 speed Ultegra with a triple but that will change this week once I get my new bottom bracket to go double.
