Good ol' Toronto drive-by storm - heck, it was mostly dry again a couple hours later
I hustled home after work as my evening ride partner preferred not to ride on the wet pavement. Rode home in a hurry to get my cleats fitted into my shoes, woo. Easy enough ride home, took Queen St. W to Sorauren for a more direct route.
Rode last night with clipless for the first time so I wasn't totally new at it for the commute this morning - ride into work was nice, still about the same speed but marked improvement on speed recovery, it's going to take a bit of getting used to and I'm still fumbling my clip-in a bit, but it'll come with practice I'm sure (within 5-10 minutes last night I had already forgotten and almost fell down when having to quickly stop at the Dundas/College/Lansdowne triangle of fun

)
Totally weird feeling being connected to the bike like that, I actually had the feeling/desire to push back on my pedals when wanting to slow down - I've never ridden fixie (well, not since my old childhood bike 23+ years ago

) - does this mean I should go fixed?
