Yep, well sort of. It was an 1/8" Izumi ECO ($21) chain that stretched bad and I tossed it after 600mi or so.
My previous 3/32" SRAM ($15) chain lasted 7500mi and still measured below stretch limit.
My replacement (for the Izumi) 1/8" Connex ($17) chain has over 3000mi on it and is fine.
