Great advice! I commuted again today. Second day much smoother than the first. Nice overcast day, no wind. Most of my ride is on the bike trail or through residential streets, so traffic was not a problem. I even saw a veteran commuter headed the other way. I was wishing for his panniers instead of my backpack making me sweaty.

Only 1 1/2 commutes under my belt and I'm hooked!
