I keep telling him no don't buy that from Dick's Sporting Goods. I've tried to tell him why, cheap components, very heavy and he will not have the same support he would have at the LBS. Please help before he makes the wrong choice.

Some more info on him, He has rode some good low end MTB bikes (Trek and Giant) before and he thinks this cheap one is a steal. I think it's because of all the flash and cool looking decals. Please help before it's to late.
