It's probably a schwin free spirit, pretty crappy IMO.


My general vintage bike rule:
Stem shifters + disk protecting the spokes on the rear wheel + possibly steel rims + chaingaurd on the chainrings = junk.

They made those hubs with high flanges in an attempt to resemble a racing bike without the quality bearings, spokes, rims ect. that would make a nice wheelset.

There are many nicer road bikes with downtube shifters that will do you better for a tiny bit more cash.
