The young folks in the LBS I frequent love old bikes, especially the frames. I don't think there's a one of them without a tatt or body piercing but they live on their bikes (which are often older than they are) and know what they're talking about.

Find a bike shop that cators towards messengers and commuters and you'll find a staff that appreciates old bikes.
