This is my first log-on and am amazed with the number of postings!!! This is a big site!!!

Just did a "re-and-re" on a 2003 Fisher Marlin and painted it grey to make it less of a target. Words of advice: painting a frame is very time consuming . Did the full tear-down, sandblast, acid etch, epoxy prime, and polyurethane top coat. Should last awhile but took me many hours over a couple of weeks.

Trying to set the bike up for X-Country trekking. Nothing too dramatic at first but hope to build up to rough country excursions of several weeks at a time. Atm I'm riding off road for an hour or more every day and am working at getting organized for overnighters. I like to travel light so it's taking awhile to get things sorted.
