The part you actually bend tends to be round they may be oval higher up on the blades, but where the drops go is round.

hey peterpan1, You are so correct, the lower fork blades are round so not so hard to bend.
Im kind of liking the bent crown straight blade look but I cant seem to find a pre bent crown for 1 1/8" that is CROSS /touring size (wider tires) only thing ive seen thats wide enough is for 1" steerer.
henry james crown is a 3 deg offset vs a 7 deg for what ive seen on NOVAs site . Lon at Nova has been a big help, though I havnt ordered tubing yet (no time to work on project right now ).
