Im confused, are you trying to adjust the cleat so it sits better on the shoe and feels comfortable or are you trying to adjust the cleat so its easier to get out?

I dont think you can adjust the cleat to make it easier to get out. thats why I feel I wasted money on my looks. I got them and it was soo hard getting out of them (coming from SPD's just like you) and being one-sided sucked too. Im not sure how long you have had them, but you might want to look at Speedplays, they are the greatest pedal!
