I do this one stretch down in the Delta that's about 2 miles on a gravel levee road. On a cool summer morning with sun drenching Mt. Diablo, redtails circling above, egrets standing sentry on the creekside, and my lugged steel fixed gear skimming over the ruts, it's a little slice of bicycle heaven.
