Making Sense of Michelin Tires

I was trying to sort through the dizzying array of road tires that Michelin produces and decided to compile and summarize Michelin's own ratings off their website for each of their most popular tires. Michelin rates each of their tires on 7 performance criteria and 4 recommended usage categories. I've personally owned and used the Pro 2 Race, Megamium and Speedium and the ratings and recommended applications seem to be pretty accurate.

In particular I just picked up some Speediums at $10 a pop from Performance and spooned them on to my commuter / leisure bike. At 300 grams they aren't lightweight climbers and the rolling resistance does seem higher compared to a race tire but they are incredibly comfortable and perfect for pounding out tough commuter miles.
