I was looking at the hardrock also and also didnt like the graphics. Your options are to get the frame powder coated, about 150 bucks or you can try repainting it yourself which could lead to paint chips and alot of headaches. One final option is stripping the frame down to bare metal and polishing it up to a near chrome shine. Only downside to that is it has to be polished every now and then to keep it shiny.
