In all seriousness, Hozan is the only tool company from Japan that I've had first hand experience with, other than Shimano. Shimano produces a Japanese-market 1/8" chainwhip/lockring tool that's absolutely stellar -- the TL-SR22:

As for Hozan, I think their tools are superior to Park's and right around the same pricepoint, or slightly more (but less than VAR.) Specifically, the chain pliers, headset cup press, lockring tool, and cone wrenches are all great. Well worthwhile. Their catalogue is available here. biketoolsetc.com sells their tools at very reasonable prices, as well.
