I have a guy I ride with that swears by Ritchey's, or Speedplays claiming the Frog's are the best pedals you can guy..commented that I hadn't done my homework and read enough reviews when purchasing my Keo Sprints. Allot of folks in our group ride use MTB pedals and shoes.

As for me, my first road pedals were Looks, and I've always liked the feel and platform as well as the look of them. Haven't had any problems with cleats breaking..sure they wear, but more if you drag them during stopping and don't use covers. Picked up covers for the first time and they make a big difference when walking. My Specialized Carbon Comp shoes also have a good heel bumper that makes walking easy, and I'm liking my set up.

Anyone ride Speedplays? For road cycling I've just always preferred a larger platform.
