Here's a complex question... if she was already doing the speed limit in the lane... and the motorist sped up to pass her... why did the motorist need to pass her in the first place?
She was moving at the speed limit, so what was the motorist going to do... violate the law and go faster? What was the motivation behind the need to pass in the first place?
I understand speeding up to pass... but why pass when there is no legitimate reason to? Motorists are often compelled to pass cyclists, for apparently no reason... why?
