Construction in town is still going on, but for the most part the major stuiff is done, so the roads should be passable without any single lane waiting for traffic. Possibly the only area you might encounter this would be on Route 302 heading towards Attitash from town; they're replacing two bridges, and might have to hoid traffic up at times.

They've pretty much finished the roundabout on North/South road, and it's now paved; no detours through gravel.

I even think they've put a rough pavement job down on the section of the Kanc they ripped up. In any event, since it's Fourth of July in the middle of the week, I'm thinking that major construction will probably be on hold. And there's plenty of alternate routes and short detours you can take to avoid most of the construction in and around town if you want.
