Mid 30s for the ride in with high thin clouds.

The ride home was low 50s with heavy clouds just waiting to rain on me.

Got to my steep climb just before my place. Started the climb. Thought to myself, "Lets hammer the hill." Well, the bike had other ideas! My right peddle broke on a down stroke while I was standing mashing my way up the hill. Went down hard. Smacked the back of my head with considerable force. (thank god for helmets) Something cut into my right thigh ripping my new heavy weight tights. Also cuts to my right wrist. Also a bit of a headache now.

Well, I'm off to take some Aleve and change out the peddles on commuter bike.

EDIT: The helmet I am wearing in my avatar is now retired. Its like loosing an old friend. It was the most comfortable helmet I owned.
