i ran over a possum a few months ago - first test ride with my new cree headlight blinded the thing, it froze then darted the wrong way the the last moment. ba-boom both wheels over the little fella who ran off intothe bushes afterwards.
not quite a deer though, i guess.

one of my friends got side swiped by a grey kangaroo once. buckled his front wheel bad!
