Great topic. I'd like to see a frugal living section. My biggest motivations for living frugally are the war in Iraq [I dont' want to personally fund murder -- don't mean to be inflamatory -- this is how it is for me personally] the health of the planet and my own freedom.

I'm unsuccessfully trying to live on $700/mo (amount my part time job pays).

My biggest challenges:
pets -- they're family and not negotiable (two dogs and a horse).
finding a good job that's not full time. Everything is either part time and low wage or geared to "careers."

I have a truck (paid for) so I can haul my horse if needed -- especially vet emergencies -- but have been thinking lateley that it might be possible to sell the truck cheap or give it away on the condition that I can use it x amount of time/month. Any thoughts?
