I was in to our local shop, the Bike Stand, last Friday to see if they could order some Honjo fenders for my Grand Jubile but l ended up with a set of Giles Berthoud Stainless Steel fenders with a leather mud flap for the front. The hardware set required a lot of drilling to install, so I paid to have the shop mechanic, Corey Thompson, do the build. Money well spent. I picked the bike up at lunchtime today. I got great service as well from the Bike Stand back when I lived there. They really helped keep my old mountain bike running on a poor college student budget. Another Olympia shop that shall remain nameless basically refused to fix it informing me that it would cost as much as buying a new bike! Those Berthoud fenders are sweet, does the Bike Stand keep Berthoud products in stock?
