The Los Altos police are pulling over cyclists who are running the red light heading south at the San Antonio/Foothill intersection. I saw two cyclists being given tickets (one police car and one police motorcycle) on the way out to the Portola loop, and I saw one who was pulled over right in front of me (the police car pulled in right in front of me and behind the other cyclist - he looked like he waited for the light though.)

I also noticed a police car situated at the Cuesta/Covington intersection on the way out and another one at the post office on Cuesta by Bicycle Outfitter on the way back. After I saw the police action at the San Antonio/Foothill intersection, I made sure to stop and put my right foot down on every subsequent stop sign like I always do at the Alpine/Portola road intersection in Portola Valley.
