thbirks, do you use the "tree huggers" currently available from Hennessy, or do you just tie the rope around the trees? I would imagine tree huggers not only protect the trees but also do not slip as easily. I had my hammock (with tree huggers) delivered around Christmas, but have not been able to test it properly yet.
