I've seen cops in my area blow a intersection code 3 (lights and siren) only to switch off and duck into a nearby doughnut shop.
My morning coffee has been replaced by the dash onto the freeway. It's one of the few places where I can run through the gears on my motorcycle really quickly. This morning, I noticed the front fender of a UHP car pull up next to me at the light. I turned to get a look at the driver, and she was pretty cute. Sleeveless dress, talking on her cell phone. Wtf? That was no UHP driver, and there was no "Out of service" sign.
