Well, I own a Motobecane Elite FS which is a hybrid model and I like it very much. I have had no problems with anything on it at all. I upgraded the saddle to a Brooks B66 Champion and added Nashbar Trekking handlebars with Specialized bar tape. I bought the bike from Chicabuke on Ebay and it came in exellent condition in 3 days. No problem assembling it - all the hard stuff is already done for you. It did take me some time to get the bike fitted properly to myself - you give up that support you would get at the LBS when you buy something like this over the internet. A proper fitting would have helped, but I believe I have now read up enough on it and have it adjusted properly now. If you like doing these things for yourself this is not a problem. If you want built in support you should probably just go to the LBS and get the bike that way.
