Which wheels? I ride low spoke count WH-R540 wheels and I'm 230 lbs. Nearly 3000 mi on them and I've never even had to have them trued.
They are the Bontrager Race Wheels. I had to have them replaced after about 5,000 miles. The back one was covered under warranty and the front sidewalls were toasted.

I just wanted to get sturdier wheels. Would it be better to just upgrade the wheels?
