There is no parts schematic for a Paramount--nor any bike. (Even if there were, the Paramount was sold as a frameset only in 1987, so, no parts.) What you need is a bicycle repair guide that will walk you through the installation and adjustment of components on a bicycle. I recommend ZINN AND THE ART OF ROAD BIKE MAINTENANCE by Lennard Zinn. Available at most bookshops or Amazon.

What you REALLY need is a bike mechanic to rebuild the bike for you. Although bicycle mechanic'in' isn't hard work, there is a fair amount of art in the practice. I'd MOST recommend you to go to your local bike shop and have it put back together and adjusted, particularly if you have little experience in the matter.

There's no shame in it, and a LOT less pain and frustration down the road.
