It's just one of those intersections where morning drivers don't respect the red for 5-10s. I was crossing York out of City Park in Denver:

The pine trees clustered around the white gate pillars hid me during the acceleration, so I'd come flying out from behind the trees. Initially I was hitting it hard to make the light, but I always saw people coming at me, so I had to reign it in, then I just kept it up because I wanted to get people thinking a bit.
