True; but let's be honest with ourselves...for the majority of us, "how the bike looks" is a large factor in the decision-making.

I'll admit that when it came down to deciding between two bikes, I chose based on how much "cooler" I thought one looked over the other (taking comfort in knowing that both bikes where very high quality rides).

In simple (albeit very subjective) terms of design/style, the BMC wins.

You're just buying frame/fork?
So in theory the components you use to build will be the same between the two...coming down to frame alone, not sure if one really stands out way beyond the other. You're going to have a very high quality frame in either case.

What sort of warranty would each come with?
