Surly 1x1 fork vs Kona Project 2

I'm finally upgrading my rigid singlespeed to front disc brakes. It currently has the non-disc Surly 1x1 fork, so I'll need to replace it with one that has IS disc mounts.

Option 1: the 1x1 fork again, but the disc version:

Option 2: the Kona Project 2 disc:

Have you ridden both? Any opinions on stiffness, handling, etc? I like the Surly alright, but does the Kona track better?

The Surly would be a little more adaptable, since it has disc AND rim brake bosses...but I doubt I'll do much switching between the two.
